		I have a Gateway Tablet Pc (CX2724).
Gateways driver website says BIOS 7813, 7811, or 7808. I downloaded your 7813 SLIC bios, flashed it. Nothing is bricked - but when I run R&W Everything and check for the SLIC tab under the ACPI tables - it is not present. So I am unsure if it actually installed SLIC or not, any way to confirm this?

Hi Jeff

Please can you post us a screenshot of each tab in SLIC Dump Toolkit - this will show us where the problems lie with the mod (if any) so we can fix it

Are you referring to screenshots of Winphlash, the flashing utility that I use to flash the bios?

I've been trying to find an updated BIOS for my Gateway T-6859u with no luck. Right now it has v89.28, but Im unsure if I can use the 89.91.24. By any chance are you aware if there is one that I can use?

Regards
Sorry not that i know of. However this bios isnt available from Gateway and i would appreciate you using the tool below to create a backup of v89.28 for us to mod

Thanks
Admin Here's the backup for the v89.28 from my Gateway T-6859u:

I must say, I stumbled across this site when looking for a Bios Mod for a gateway which had the Battery Auto-Learning feature because I have installed Win7 and now my battery has been reported as having problems when it's completely fine. Will this mod also help in that or just the Slic 2.1?

if Gateway mention something in the release notes about it fixing the issue then it will help , otherwise just 2.1 SLIC - main page has been updated with new link v89.28

Admin
Thanks, I'll try that out. However I was asking if you only mod for the Slic 2.1 or you could also grab that feature from similar bios and add it to this version.

Not even sure you guys can help - but thought I woudl post a request.
I have a GATEWAY 702GE (given to me by one of my customers when he upgraded to a notebook).

Here is the BIOS information from the GATEWAY page:

SSIIL2609.exe - South Lake, South Lake 2, South Lake 3, and Luxemburg Motherboard BIOS Update Revision: SE91510J.15A.2609
Supports: All Operating Systems
Note: This is the BIOS for the Intel SE91510J (South Lake, South Lake 2, South Lake 3, Luxemburg) motherboards. All previous updates are superseded by this update.

Here is a link:
 http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/getFile.asp?id=20628&dscr=South%20Lake,%20South%20Lake%202,%20South%20Lake%203,%20and%20Luxemburg%20Motherboard%20BIOS%20Update%20Revision:%20SE91510J.15A.2609&uid=286180138
I downloaded a program RW-Everything, and I clicked on the ACPI button and it read the BIOS on the gateway - but there is no SLIC listed there.

Any ideas, am I just stuck with XP MCE 2005?

Thanks,
*BH*
