After pressing F1 or before? Im assuming its unbootable. Please tell me if you have a backup bios chip or not. Do you hear any disk activity? Im thinking either you had a bad flash or something went terribly wrong, but the bios looked good in all of my tools. If you are able to recover I can think of one more thing to try that may make it work.

Well thats good news. Okay. Ive readded the setting trying a different method, hopefully it will fix whatever is holding you up at the bios screen. Also you said after pressing F1, for my computer(I have this board also) its F10. You have an HP right?

In any event here's the link, the fan setting and all included Overclocked settings are under Power.

Remember to flash in DOS with awdflash.

Good Luck!

Okay, just so we can confirm its the bios, try flashing just the unlocked overclocked version that has been reported to work successfully.

Well it looks like the problem is probably that particular setting is mapped, but still hidden. Probably in order to get it right we may have to flash 1 or 2 more times with different places inside the bios.

I have been studying this and I have learned by experience that this setting doesn't like to be moved around too much because its not enclosed in its menu properties, which could be whats messing us up is the menus fighting each other. Im hoping that this bios will do it, but only testing will verify. I put the setting under the boot tab, which may sound like a wierd place but I think it may do the trick.

Man, your computer just doesn't like the FAN mod at all. Try using the recovery method described in the tutorial section and see if you can get back in.

TheWiz

I wonder if the key ot enter your bios being different has anything to do with it.

I have used the bios swap method to recover the bios

it look like impossible to disable the CPU fans checking on boot up
