The package arrived today.

Now I have the CH341A programmer and SOIC8 SOP8 test clip.
Didn't get a driver CD though so I'm still waiting for a reply from seller while searching for a driver on the internet whichever comes first.

Update

I have gotten the USB programmer with SOIC clip to work now.
The CH341A programmer detects the chip as a W25Q32V though.

Please advise on which file to flash.
The only BIOS.bak backup I have is a winphlash backup made with the tool in Lenovo's BIOS update archive.

Just read the Firmware and upload here !

Yes.
CH341A auto detect says W25Q32V 4MB/32megabit though but I believe what's printed on the chip itself

It works!!!

Sorry it took a while(CH341A programmer keeps disconnecting before I get a successful flash which seems to be insufficient power from laptop USB port) and there I got one successful flashing.

I never thought I'll see this laptop boot again.

Now I want to do things the right way.
Can you kindly point me to the BIOS backup tools that I need for this to get the whitelist bios?
