I used O380-G41 on my Optiplex 380 and now it will not post. Was that the wrong one?

The Opti 745 having support for 1333fsb is good news. I didn't try it because i already had the QX6800, and the faster E520.

Is the 1333fsb confirmed? I have a q6600 running in a stock bios 745, but didn't think an q8200 or q8300 would work due to the faster fsb so I didn't try it. If these can work, I've got some upgrading to try.

I have add the last microcode on the BIN file, how can I import the bin in an exe to flash it under Dos or Windows ?
Or how can I flash the bin file dorectly on windows?

Hello, i have a Optiplex 380 with a Dual Core 3,2 Ghz and i have Buy a Xeon E5450. But i have a problem with the Update. I try to install this Update under Windows 10 and 7, but he say :

BIOS Update Faild!
The firmware Image failed one or more consistency Checks.

My Bios is the Normal A07 and the rest of the System 1 GB DDR3 und VGA Port.

I have an Optiplex 380 with BIOS A05 and a Q9505S CPU. I have a Xeon X5470. A modded MB socket, and the Xeon  tape adapter.
 Does this BIOS install just like a Dell BIOS form in Windows? Download/Open/Run? Or do I have to learn the bootable USB dance?
Do I need to install a dual core CPU first to install the BIOS because it will no longer support the R0 CPU I have now?
Do I need BIOS A04 so it can upgrade to the modded A05?
 I'm hoping to end up with an X5470 3.33GHz, 8GB DDR3@1066, and a GTX 1060 3GB. I'm running Win 7 Home Premium.
