Hello!
I need some help with my Acer laptop. I mainly use it for gaming but its performance is bad, even when setting its TDP to 25W with ThrottleStop (max value according to official Intel website - Intel website (US)).I tried undervolting it to see if it helped, but the difference was minimal.
The only items in the BIOS' "Advanced" tab are Intel VT-X and VT-D options. Both are disabled because I don't use VMs.
Laptop info:
- Intel I5-8265U
- 32GB DDR4 SODIMM RAM
- GeForce MX130 (produces artifacts - currently disabled)
- Insyde BIOS v1.16
BIOS download link: Insyde v1.16 (Acer website mirror)
The .bin file I managed to pull from the EXE file: Google Drive
Any help or guidance will be extremely appreciated!
