Here is a dump of my bios using an SOIC8 Clip and CH341a SPI programmer.

My Laptop is Acer Aspire A515-51G-859W. The bios is an 8MB Winbond W25Q64JVSSIQ SO8.

Bios mod can be flashed using SPI-programmer+SOIC8 clip only

I'm trying to make a bios mod for my acer, I'm trying to get the bios file. I got an isflash.bin file, but when I'm going to make some changes in it from the error and some applications to make modifications says it's not compatible.

I got the file running the application C5V01121.exe made available by the own acer on her site and going in the folder:

 C:\Users\flavio\AppData\Local\Temp\7zS3007.tmp/isflash.bin


I believe this is not the actual bios file because it has 9.2mb

I would also like to know if anyone can unlock it there for me. I've got some hidden options on the bios, but I do not know how I did it.

Hi there. My laptop is Acer Aspire a515-51g-55k9. I need to unlock the bios so i can increase tdp limit of cpu, because i5-8250u is very good chip and this 15w is stopping it from performing good.

Nvidia MX150

Hi, I recently bought an Aspire 5 A515-51-51ux and would like to increase the video memory but the notebook does not come with the debug option and I would like to know a way to access or if there is already a bios mod

(I tried fn + tab, f10 + a, fn + esc, and none got

Hi,
I need a modded BIOS to get access to advanced options and increase the TDP limit for my CPU. 
I tried searching the forums and a few have already posted request for this model but there was no modded BIOS itself to download.
I am ready to use hardware based BIOS flashing as well just point me in the right direction
