Update from pure DOS with USB-bootable stick
See how to make one here:

Copy the "Modified" folder contents into the stick and boot in DOS mode and
Run Flash.bat to update.

Don't touch Video Settings or Disable Video Card It will Brick laptop !!!

Hello,
My mistake in using Recovery Mode.
I followed that instruction, created a bootable usb key with that tools (I tryied either with HPUSBFW.exe and then with rufus) then copyied the content of the folder (if I well understood: all files inside the "modified" folder on the root of usb).
So: "boot in dos mode" you mean simply power on the notebook (of course with usb into it) ?
Because in this case Pc simply doesn't boot and pc starts with <see: sam_0073 (Copia).jpg attached on this post and then the other attachment>
I tryied all of the 3 usb ports.

It worked perfectly, i've changed the dedicated video memory to 1GB. But i noticed that it gives no differences of being shared memory or dedicated, based on gaming tests.
But at least you can change it without any fear. The only difference is that your system will always have 1GB available without activating turbo boost.

You have to go into Setup Menu Bios and set Disable Secure Boot and Set Legacy Bios USB
if You cannot may be You have to create a SVP = SuperisorPassword !

Excuse me, or I'm stupid or bad writing in English (which is not my language) I am not able to explain the problem !
When I turn on the notebook does not display the "Acer" screen and even trying with F2 key etc. during after power on I can not access the bios.

Try to reset CMOS removing the battery from MoBo so You get default Settings then try
to get F2 or CANC or ESC to go into Setup Menu !

Found jumper to reset CMOS (under the Ram). Followed the instruction (remove cable cord, battery, ram and then short the 2 pin with written RTC_RST.
Worse than ever !!!
Now, after 1st screen ("Default boot device missing or boot failed..." pressing a key to enter the boot option menu) in the boot option menu, no longer can choose to boot from HD, CD and lan.

I'm desperate !
