[REQUEST] Lenovo G500(s) (7BCNxxWW) BIOS unlock

HI,

I am trying to connect a eGPU with EXP GDC through the mPCIe, It won't detect and researching has pointed me to the BIOS advanced setting unlock being a possible solution.

I am fairly new to this and I am looking for any support/advice on what I need to do and how?

I have read that I need to do a BIOS back up with FPT to provide for modification, but I am unclear on how and don't want to take the chance proceeding and risk the BIOS being bricked.

Any help is much appreciated.

I would like to unlock advanced features and wlan whitelist removal. Recently I've changed the battery but sais it is destroyed although it shows battery percent

I have a Lenovo G500s with the Last Lenovo firmware for this model and the specs you can see bellow:

I need to unlock Advanced settings and I need to enable vt-d. I tried F2 (enter setup) --> Fn+Tab --> F10 save and restart,again F2 and no Advanced menu. I tried A+F10, and the same result. I tried Shift+A+F10 and no result either.

With lenovo's firmware I can enable Intel Virtualizacion = Vt-x , but I need Vt-d with IOMMU support, as you can see in intel documents it is supposed to be supported:

Here you can see a list of compatible hardware with Vt-d, cpu and chipset in motherboard are in but OEM lenovo bios does not support it, so I need a mod for my bios I guess.
