Bump. I have an option in Bios to enable back flash(a funciton that lets me install an earlier version of bios) - maybe this will help?

Hello I have posted a request on WL removal for G510 bios and no one responded. So I just want to understand what is the problem with this bios that it cannot be modded? Many lenovo G-series laptops have gotten the mod, even the G500 that has a very similar bios version has got the WL removed but the G510 did not.

On Lenovo Z510 is a problem to re-flash bios modded as it has write protect memory set (Insyde Secure Flash) and cannot use Recovery method (bypass way) to flash bios.
This is UEFI problem as all EFI bios are based on Secure Boot and have to validate by RSA signature driver's modules ad all, Win8 also take his place.
Manufacturers are all including every kind of RSA checks, first was HP, then Lenovo and now Acer, but all UEFI bios will arrive to it.
I haven't look in G510, but I think it's the same !, so I will dig it quickly to refer You.

Hi! And thank you very much for replying! In my bios menu there is an option to disable the Secure Boot and there is an option for bios back flash - maybe this stuff would help bypass the uefi problem you are talking about? Maybe this would help my result.rar http://rghost.ru/52042190 and bios backup http://rghost.ru/52040959

People have managed to flash bios for G510 here https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Lenovo-3000...647/page/3 -- so this means it is flashable?

Hey Sovem! Thanks for that work! But unfortunately it did not work. It says -- InsydeH20 - Secure Flash Error : Invalid firmware image!!! Please press and key to reset system. -- .. guess that's the problem..
