I tried to flash the bios on Lenovo old version but lenovo disabled this feature and I was able to flush only this version from the official website:
http://download.lenovo.com/consumer/mobi...7ww_64.exe

all others will generate an error

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access. site:www.bios-mods.com

I hope you can squeeze in a CAP file that I was able to use the official program for flashing

if You tried alread to flash by FPT tool and got Error 28 without bypassing It, now We cannot do anything more
as all Boses are actualy Capsulated and Signed so original cannot be modified and reflashed, but only Backup
when Eeprom is not Protectedm ineed your is Write Protect !!!

It didn't work on flashing. I tried both instructions and FPT.exe still no good says protected registers error. Is there a different method to flash this without getting an eprom flasher on eBay some where?

BTW... when i dump my bios on windows with backup tool kit or fpt i get a 4 mb file... so i decided dump my bios with my external programmer.. (a top3000)... so i get a 8 mb file.. Thanks again

Ok friend,
It's best solution SPI PGM to read and write Bios Firmware !
Normaly Firmware is about 8192 KB (It depends on Eeprom chip like W25Q64BV)
and Region Bios is 4096 KB, so using FPT Intel You get 4 MB and using an SPI PGM You got 8 MB !!!
It will contains Descriptor - ME - BIOS - GbE - PDr !!!
Let me know which is your Eeprom Chip please.
I will upload the Bios Mod based on your Dump file so You will rewrite It whole as You Dumped.

The chip is 25q64fvs1g or something like that.. its 8 mb indeed (something i learned was "80 or 08 means 1 mb.. 16 means 2 mb.. 32 - 4mb, 64 - 8 mb)... thats why my dump (

About your Bios I have done the Mod (Extract Region Bios, use Andy PMTool to extract all Modules
into DUMP folder then modify Whitelist one DxeOemDriver.efi = 608FBD1D-15E1-40C4-9443-662ECC0C07AA 10 O:0F0C:7400 O:0F1B:EB69
replace It and repack Bios).
