Hello, I have a problem with replacing the original Intel Centrino 2230 wifi card with an Intel 7260HMW (for 5GHz frequency support). After replacing the card and turning on the laptop, I got an error code: "Unauthorized wireless card" error while booting."
After a long search to remove the whitelist, I did not find a solution how can I flash the bios with a modified firmware.
Original size (from Lenovo website) 7.44 mb.
modified backup taken from my bios 4.5 mb.
The InsydeFlash firmware program reports a firmware size mismatch.

Please make the correct size firmware from my original bios dump file.

Can someone help me to remove the wifi whitelist on my Lenovo Ideapad P400 Touch?  I found this site after purchasing this wifi 6e card and getting the whitelist "remove card and reboot" message.  I'm running the current bios (71cn51ww) I have a freedos boot disk ready. I just need instructions on how to backup my current bios for the patch. Also, curious why the patch is specific to each laptop? Thanks!

Hello, Can you help me remove whitelist from my BIOS. I could not find BACKUP_TOOLS19
I used Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0 to backup my bios.
