The instructions say to flash orginal bios update first but does not explain how. Also no bios is available to download from lenovo.

Tried to flash the bios using the flash.bat from a freedos usb stick and receive "Error 28: Protected Range Resgisters are currently set by bios, preventing flash access."

I believe you can disregard my previous reply. It stated press any key to continue, which i did it flashed the bios.

Seems to detect the new wireless adapter and there is also a significant amount more available in the bios.

Used laptop from e-bay. I'm unsure if its broken WiFi card that locks up system startup or that someone replaced it with non-whitelisted one.
