Let me know
Regards

You have to flash from DOS environment so Booting from USB to do this
You have to Disable SecureBoot and Set Legacy Bios from USB !!!
Then Boot from USB and You'll go into DOS C:\ then run flash.bat !

An alternative is this Bios Mod, unpack this file and copy the "Modified"
folder contents into the USB stick and boot in DOS mode, then run lash.bat :

Run Flash.bat to update.
let me know

Use this tool and upload the result file (Universal Bios Backup) :

Hi, would someone like to help me by removing the whitelist of my UEFI BIOS.
I own a Lenovo Thinkpad S540 which came with an Intel Wireless AC 7260, this nic doesn't perform well in busy areas amongst other things I don't like about it.
I wish to replace it with an older AR9830 (better performance, packet injection support, etc).
I've provided more detailed information below.

BIOS official download location:
filenames: gpuj11ww.exe and gpuj11ww.bin
EXE(flashtool package): https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/product...s/DS038373
BIN(bootable cd): https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/product...s/DS038374

BIOS version: GPET59WW (1.59)
BIOS version date: 9/9/2014

System model: 20B3CTO1WW

Baseboard model: Unkown

Baseboard Manufacturer: Lenovo

PCI ID of the wireless NIC:
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_08B2&CC_0280
(copied straight from the windows device manager, sorry I didn't trim it.)

RSA:
I'm not sure, I couldn't get the rom in any of Andy's tools(AMI, Award, Inside, etc).

Bios backup: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3dFAOwRKFAzT3Y2OTNMX3JMdU0&authuser=0

The latest version GPET63WW (1.63) would be fine to.

I would love to donate for fixing Lenovo's bad policy Big Grin (preferably Paypal).

Alright I tried flashing both them.

The non FPT reports that it cannot find Phoenix, the FPT one reports error 28 (protected range registers).

Things I've tried:

-Secureboot is disabled.
-disabled the security chip.
-legacy (CSM) and UEFI boot.

I tried prr2.exe

Pressing enter to attempt flash after the prr.exe check doesn't work.

Should I try a hardware flash?

Thanks for the help.

Regards.
