[REQUEST] Lenovo IdeaPad U330, U430 & U530 (7CCNxxWW) Whitelist Removal
Hallo together,

it's amazing that this thread is still existing (since 2011) and many thanks that it's still alive...
Now I also wanted to change my wifi-card and have problems with the whitelist. My notebook model is "U530 touch".
I've backuped my bios with the "Universal BIOS Backup ToolKit 2.0":

https://www.sendspace.com/file/60m2od

May somebody can help me?

Thanks

Hi everyone,

I'd need some help to remove the whitelist for wifi cards in my Lenovo u330 touch.

My BIOS version is the usual, 7CCN62WW. I must say that I don't use windows, only Ubuntu, so I guess I'd need to use FreeDOS to do the BIOS dump. Anyway, I'd appreciate a bit of guidance as I've never done anything like this.

Many Thanks in advance!

Thanks @Dudu2002, I've installed a different wifi card and, although for some reason the wifi keeps disconnecting ramdomly, now I can try with different wifi cards. Thanks to you I can now try to sort the problem. Cheers!
