A hefty 2012 T520 Lenovo ThinkPad seems fine even now, short of 4K.  We all are waiting on that next Moore's law bump. . .

At that Link there are filters:
     Select:  BIOS/UEFI
     Select:  Windows 7 64 bit

     Use first download version 1.46 BIOS

I have not applied this BIOS update, so I should not run into the "Current Version" issue.

I want to thank this BBS group for stepping up quickly and doing what a multi-billion dollar company chooses deliberately not do.  

So - Apply more pressure to IBM-Lenovo and HP, interestingly a couple of the biggest makers.  It seems the biggest companies engage in the biggest conspiracies.

I downloaded the 1.46 file using the latest link above (ending in "QLD"). I'm wanting it for the unlocked memory speed. Before applying it to my T520, I wanted to ask if anyone that's used it have had any problems. Has anyone had any problems, or are there any known issues?
