Only way You can try if there is a Downgrade possibility (many times rewriteng
an older Bios Version Eeprom Chip goes unlocked) !

Okay, so I got the hardware to do the programmer flash and I'm gonna try to read and rewrite the bios soon, but what needs to be modded to enable the whitelist? I'm using the same bios update as the guy who opened this thread.

Are you able to make the bios mod with the firmware if i send the backup when i use the spi programmer?

Hey BDMaster,

you had asked me to do a firmware dump of the EEPROM Bios chips using an SPI Programmer

There are two (2) bios chips that exist on the Lenovo E540 Motherboard,

1.W25Q64FVSIG - 1419 
  ThinkPad_Edge_E540_NM-A161_REV1.0_W25Q64FVSIG_U8M1.BIN.zip (Size: 2.77 MB / Downloads: 122)
2.W25Q32FVSIQ - 1428 
  ThinkPad_Edge_E540_NM-A161_REV1.0_W25Q32FVSIG_U4M1.BIN.zip (Size: 2.23 MB / Downloads: 107)

there is also a third chip nearby, i read it anyway. 
  ThinkPad_Edge_E540_NM-A161_REV1.0_L08-124S08USROM1.BIN.zip (Size: 400 bytes / Downloads: 81)

I am attaching the bios read that i got from the chip using the ch341A, I saved them as BIN files.

do let me know if this information has proven resourceful, and anything else I can do to help.

IT seems i cant find a ch341 programmer that can read from the 25Q64FV bios chip,

none of them i tried have it listed or will work.
