Hi,Sovem, here is my config:

- latest bios at lenovo's site 1.45 (6iet85ww)

I've upgraded my 1.40 bios with your modification you made for user "Cortexback":

Look README to update. Please post results.

It worked just fine (followed readme instructions), but when I decided to enable TPM, I got 5 beeps twice before boot. Every time.  Used F9 to "BIOS Setup Defaults", but it didn't help, though defaults did apply, except for the "Finger Print Module", passwords and and policy stuff.

May be I've flashed the wrong bios regardles of the same name?

Or may be this problem is not related to NWL-bios? When I start  "Client Security Solution" it says, that TPM was configured for other then vista or win 7 (actually i previously used XP) and in order to use TPM, I have to "Clear TPM in BIOS Setup Utility" but I didn't find any TPM clearing options in bios. Or I just need to clear password policies?  - not an issue: TPM is cleared, set up and working fine after installing bios menu extension.

Any suggestions would be helpful.

Is it possible to marry TPM with the NWL-mod-bios? Those beeps are annoying and boot time have increased. But I like TPM functions and don't want to disable it.

Hi every one, sorry for double-posting but has any one found a way to use mod-bios without "5beeps-pause-5beeps-boot" while TPM is enabled? Just cant get the straight answer.

I didn't see anyone post a clear success story using this file so figured post my results for anyone considering attempting this.

Worked on my Lenovo T410 ..upgraded to the original BIOS (v1.45), rebooted, and then flashed the Modified BIOS - all per the included instructions. Both a Dell DW1506 WiFi Card and a generic WiFi card booted fine, installed its driver and both works great now - both of which through the usual 'Unauthorized Wireless network card is plugged in' prior to the mod. Thanks sovem!

Note, I did verify that my particular laptop (Type 2522-4BU) BIOS used the exact BIOS build version too (6IUJ29US) as an extra precaution in case anyone is nervous to check as well, but installing the org bios will likely check.

Hi,

It is safe to flash the modded bios on my T410 to ged rid of whitelist, I attached a image with my bios.

Currently running:Qualcomm Gobi 2000 FRU: 60Y3183

Would like to run: Sierra Gobi 5000 EM7355 FRU: 04W3801

So, disabling the whitelist would be the best solution.

Thanks in advance.
