[REQUEST] Lenovo Thinkpad T540p (GMETxxWW) Whitelist Removal
#1
Hello,

I would like to request Wifi whitelist removal from BIOS http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj09us.iso
http://download.lenovo.com/ibmdl/pub/pc/...uj09us.exe

I'm not sure which BIOS make it is. I use UEFI boot on my T540p, so I assume it is Insyde.

The http://rghost.net/56932575 gave a 7-zip unsupported method
The http://rghost.net/53128665 fails to run at all. I am not sure what tool I can use to create a bios backup that you are requesting.

I do have a zip file that was created using the Read & Write utility v1.6.5.9 and have attached that.

I askked about that tool to look your Eeprom Status, so I can see if It's rewriteble or not !
Can post some Screen Shots of errors or about your use of the tool so i can understand better !
I can do the Mod, but I will waste my time if your Eeprom is locked !
Let me know
Regards

You can unpack the .exe file and do manualy the executions of tools, open a Comand Prompt with Administrator Rights
and execute from CLI C:\ the go.bat comand and You'll get the result file into the same folder.
