I assume I need to use SPI to read/write? I would gladly buy the tool if I know it can be done.

I get the SPI programmer tomorrow. I will provide dump in the next 24h. Not sure what that admin tool thing is for?
Since I don't have Windows I can't really run it. Is it really needed? Alternative Linux commands?

Interesting... turns out it took only a few minutes to patch the file myself. All that is needed is the 4MB SPI dump.
Why Dudu2002 is asking everyone in a PM to run a tool he created, that collects very personal data from Windows is beyond my understanding.
I would be very cautious running this tool. Feel free to google the name + malware and you can get the picture.
My Windows product ID is NOT needed to remove anything from the BIOS!

In fact, once you have the SPI files it is so easy to simply run 1 command and flash it back.

To each their own. Just be careful.
