[REQUEST] Lenovo X220 (8DETxxWW) Whitelist Removal

Hello,
i update my x220 with this BIOS 1.42, but now i have a BIG Problem.
The Laptop shut not down total. Windows is shutting down, all Led switches off, but the Fan runs anyway.
At this time i cannot start the computer new. I must swichtch them with the long power-button pressing total off.
Then the Fan is off and i can start the computer correct.
Next problem is: the computer wake not up from the hybernate mode. no chance. I must switch them by long pressing the powerbutton off.

What must i set in Setup to eleminate my problems?

Or how can i reupgrade to the Lenovo 1.42 BIOS?

I am sorry, i found it. It was the "Intel Pro 6300 Wlan-Card". If i install the old orginal card all works perfekt. At the Intel Pro 6300 is some Pin, that makes the effect with no shut down. I dont now whitch Pin. Will see.

since i installed this mod bios some keys like volume up/down and mute dont work, you got it problem too?

Everything works fine for me without an issue so far. The physical volume and mute buttons work perfectly for me. I would check drivers or bios settings. I'm running Windows 10, but I highly doubted it makes any differences.

Confirm those hot key works perfect(win7) except the blue thinkvantage wondering why...

ThinkVantage is pretty useless in my opinion, and you can definitely go without it.

- Unlocked memory speed
- Unblocked AES MSR 0xE2
- New vbios Intel 2119
- 16Gb 1866 + eGPU solved

From Oleh and recomputed SHA1 sums and changed RSA key and signature from me to get rid of 5 beeps on boot and make TPM (Security Chip) happy.

Hey,

i flashed the modified bios to use Intels 7260AC wifi card. After flashing my X220 it does not detect a wifi card wether the orginial 6205 nor the 7260AC. The X220 boots completly up but the device manager doesn't show any wifi card.

I tried to reflash the bios and downgrade to 1.40 several times but nothing works.  Can somebody help me? :-)

Could anyone please confirm that BIOS from ValdikSS link works fine, without breaking anything, and TPM remains happy without 5 beeps?
