Hi guy!

I get the next message:

"PDR Region does not exist.
GBE Region does not exist.

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash
access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected
Range Registers."

Then I reboot to Windows, enter to panic and reflash my old BIOS.

What do you think about this message!

Do you think I can turn off the laptop and turn on after having get this message?

Hi friend,
It's all normal anyone get this message !!!
Your bios on Lenovo Y50 not has that area and many users find Eeprom Protect error 28 !
Now if You are lucky when message is displaied then press ENTER (let me see that screen
shot please do a photo and upload) and We can continue to flash Bios Mod (thanks to Svl7
prr.exe tool or You are out of luck and only using an SPI PGM HW can do this job !
Let me know

No It's safe !!!
Regards

P.S. You are afraid to brick and don't think that Buying an SPI PGM You can
jump out the problem !!!
When Laptop Brick Service use an SPI PGM to rewrite into Eeprom the Original Bios !
If your Eeprom is Write Protect You too have would use an SPI PGM to do this job
(write Bios Mod).
