Unfortunately, i am getting this error:

Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access.
Please contact the target system BIOS vendor for an option to disable Protected Range Registers.

Any way to go past that error? Would flashing back to older bios help? Or maybe I should use some other tool to flash it? 

Sorry for all these questions, but I desperately need unlocked bios... Thanks!

If Pressed ENTER when required not sort the Modify then only an HW SPI Programmer can
do the job !
Or have to Downgrade to previous version Bios so . . .

Run this to downgrade:

Remember to set the option in bios that enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

Hi, can someone help me? i`m brazilian so.. sorry for my bad english...

i go a lenovo y50, and i was trying to put a new ssd hd, but when i tried to enter bios.. they ask for paswword! i`m the first owner never place any password before..

there is one way to reset? ou find a ``global`` password so i can enter bios to change boot hd.

i tried to remove baterry and mother board baterry for one hole night.. no reset..

please! help me! ;''(

I am sorry, I didn't test it out yet, but I did a lenovo bios update from lenovo.com

So, my question is can I flash the bios you sent me anyway. Or can't I use this one anymore ?

You can use It but there are two thing to see :

1. Update can lock Bios Mod locking Eeprom Chip
2. The Bios Mod is just for Bios Backup present into Eeprm Chip so not working after updte

no need for this anymore, did a downgrade and then the mod worked.
Could you guys please explain , how I can decrease the fan speeds in the thermal menu?
