Hi BDMaster,
I would like to remove whitelist and unlock the advanced menu as I'm having the laptop hackintoshed.
my bios version is 3.03

should I downgrade to 1.14 or 1.13 before flashing your modded bios ?

Hi BDMaster,
I want to remove whitelist + Unlock Advance menu(Also if there's extra stuff you can unlock will be greatly thankful to you) for my Lenovo Y50-70 Bios (Downgraded from 3.03 to 1.14)
Here's my
Universal Bios backup(norton 360 detects as virus but uninstalled it before running those tools with admin rights)

and for the backup tools it detects my hardware or os as 32 bit, but you know it's architecture is 64 bit and inorder to use more than 4gb ram you need 64 bit os, I'm having win 8.1 idk why it detected as 32 bit

Also, One day when you unlocked my bios earlier, There was an option to enable/disable usb turbo or usb 3.0 turbo, if possible please try to unlock that too, because I was not able to find it.

Use Spleep Bug to flash this Bios . . .

Unpack the Bios Mod and copy the "modified" folder into C: HD root place !
Then open Command Promt with Admin Rights (CLI window C:\), put your laptop
into Sleep Mode (just close the Lid) and then Wacke-Up It (reopen the Lid),
after this execute these comands from CLI window :

cd \

cd modified

fptw -f bios.bin -bios

(or fptw64 for Windows x64)

should I do this step for the bios 1.14 before flashing : "Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.

Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !"

Remember to set the Option (BIOS Back Flash) in bios that
enables you to flash an older bios, before you run it.

I found another solution - Just in case it was ever needed.

Download the 1.14 version

Then use 7-zip to extract that .exe file, You will find a platform.ini file into that folder.

Then Look for "BIOSVFEnable=2" and replace it with "BIOSVFEnable=0", run It
as Administrator InsydeFlash.exe tool and go !

Hi , i have since today a bios mode for my Y50 and it's fantastic. But i need to remove thermal throttle to the CPU. It fixed in BIOS at 65° celcius. It's a [censored] jocke because the turbo stop immediately.

I was fixed voltage with Intel ETU. I was test temp max with Throttle stop but i would fixed it directly from the BIOS.
Someone does he find the setting. For I have searched a lot and nothing happens ( thermal setting etc...)
