Hello,

First, i apologize in advance it my post is a re-post.
Now, i had no knowledge of this BIOS modding and whitelist removal.
In fact, i don't even know there is a limitation in LENOVO

My lenovo is at stated idea pad z510 non touch. And i am trying to upgrade the wifi card to the following card which i bough form ebay, with fairy cheap price.
"IBM Broadcom BCM94352HMB 802.11ac Dual Band 2x2 AC+Bluetooth 4.0 867Mbps Card"

Please kindly guide me through the process since i'm a noob in this.
Not sure if its help but, i upgrade my HDD to SSD, the original HDD is now mounted in HDD caddy in DVD slot. And the OS is windows 8.1 pro x64 bit which i purchased separately. Not lenovo OEM windows.

Do ask me of what i need to provide with elaboration.

On a unrelated topic i suppose, any idea about what dual band wifi care i might be able to use on my Z510? something within their bloody whitelist.

Ok I think it's possible as lately another user posted a PM sayng that He got the result doing It by GQ-4X programmer (It's a lot expansive) with Pomona Soic Clip.
We have to know which are the Eeprom Chips to understand if the CH341A programmer is adapt to You !
so a good way is to use this tool, run It as Administrator, get a result file and upload It here :

P.S. the Eeprom Chips are always near the ChipSet (a square big chip), the second is Graphic Chip (Ati or nVidia).

Ok I saw on your phot in the left below section MoBo two Eeprom with a big G !
These are names GigaDevice Semic. :

GD25Q16 2 MB
GD25Q32 4 MB

Your Eeprom is write Ptrotect = error 280 only by SPIPGM !!!
You have to find a PGM that support these Eeproms !
I will give a look, so You do the same by your side.
That PGM New CH341A 24 25 series EEPROM Flash BIOS USB Programmer is for 24 - 25
eeproms so It would be work !
So You can try using that one.

Now You have to use this Slip Marker to enable Slic 2.1 :
