He did same thing as You FjFc !!!
I don't know what to do, He has to require substitution of MoBo sigh !
Regards

Yes, sadly he tought he was supposed to flash the encapsulated BIOS, but the strange thing is that he can still use recovery mode, so I trink that with the right BIOS he can recover, the problem is he doesn't even know if the BIOS is the right one...

I think that Bios when try to load itself It goes into Heaven Code as The HRV not is at right place cause the longer encapsulated version displaces it behind and the jump to starting bios code jump to an inner routine and the absolute references are falsed too !
It's real mistake and bios don't search any Recovery file, only madness ago !
regards

The strange is that he gets usb blinking + shutdown, like it is really being flashed, maybe recovery code in vaio's is not part of the normal BIOS?

Do you still have this modded bios somewhere it would be great if you could send it to me since i got this stock bios on my Laptop and want to take a look on some of the BIOS settings.

A quick guide would also be cool.

Official download for my Laptop:
http://www.sony.de/support/de/content/cn...SVE1712V1E (Its the same file anyway)
