Hi, I'm new in this forum and I would like to ask if someone could help me to unlock advanced bios features in my laptop. I need to use my HD Intel Graphics but advance settings menu is hidden and I can't activate it.

helo i Have  Sony vaio SVE1713E1EW but was brick and now i have bios from SVE1713L1R and working but waio care is in russia I changed the processor, and would like to unlock the advance tab to be able to turn on the turbo. bios is in the attachment. thank you in advance, I would like to pay you back.

motherboard :Sony MBX-267
Wistron Z70CR, MB 48.4MR10.021

I've tried all the modified and unmodified bios. and only this one works (rest brick) . if you need any additional information please let me know.

Here is what i did:

I dumped the R0170D6 BIOS from within Windows using InsydeFlashX64 - just changed a variable in the corresponding INI file to make it create a backup.

After the DUMP (.BIN file) was created, i downloaded the RAR archive from the first post in this thread (i thought it would give me more menu options within the Insyde BIOS):

Using PhoenixTool 2.50, i replaced the FE3542FE-C1D3-4EF8-657C-8048606FF670.MOD from within the RAR archive with the one from my extracted DUMP.

After that i repacked the extracted DUMP and flashed it (9 MB .BIN file). The result is what i got now - a non functioning notebook.

Reflashing the original dump also doesn't make the notebook work.

Using the ROM file I have created, I have made the same modifications to my ROM. Then I tried to install the modified ".ROM" file but I have failed at it. I have found some sources about how to install the ROM using a flash drive, but I tried both of them (using a flash drive and holding on FN + ESC and FN + B). Also, am I trying to install the correct file? I have a modified ROM file and some sources suggest I need to use an FD extended file. Is there a difference between them?

I would love to have it unlocked since i cant activate my Intel hd graphics.. my amd gpu died along time ago and i just realised that i could use the intel graphic but the bios is locked :c

I can't find the support website for my model that have a BIOS Download (https://www.sony.com.hk/en/electronics/s.../downloads), so I'm a little bit confused here, can I extract it with a software or what.. no idea.
