[REQUEST] Toshiba Satellite S855/C855/L855 BIOS Unlock

A customers motherboard fried and we replaced it with one from ebay. That board shut off right at 30 minutes every time you boot up no matter if you boot from a WinPE disk or the laptops windows. Replaced with another board and the same thing happened. Turns out that some Toshiba motherboards will only work with the board they shipped with. Known issue.

The laptop is C855-S5352

Newest bios available and the one I am using is:

Is there any way to unlock a menu to adjust for the cpu?

I can't provide a screenshot as the board is at work. Also I haven't seen a menu for the feature I'm looking to change. The problem is whitelisting of the cpu I think.

your motherboard have hm70 which doesn't support i3 or i5. You are stuck with celeron or pentium processors.

to view hidden options related to Ram, Graphics, and Chipsets. The Model I currently own is the Toshiba S855-S5381

I have installed the ACPI Flash BIOS version 6.70 for Satellite C855/L855/S855. 6.70 is the latest i think since 2013.
I am in Windows 10 insider, dont know if Windows 8.1 file will work.

Can you help me? i want to change video memory and other hidden things. Please contact OEM bios engineer to add the feature " and finish with " if you understand the risk and still want to flash you can add the following setting in plattform.ini to ignore error [EngineeringErrorDisable] SkipSecureBootProtectionCheck=1 " I follow this and added that to platform.ini and then an error message says this Bios is not for your notebook PC.

The first link is giving me this "accessing the file is restricted" while the second link is similar from the application I've used to backup my bios ROM. The application's file name is "Universal Backup Toolkit", do I still need to use this application that you gave or they are both the same?
