Hi i need this modified bios, with the whitelist removed, i need to install a different WIFI PCI express half minicard but the bios is locked an it gives me error 104, i see this moded bios posted here but all the links are down

Can't unpack the embedded flasher, so can't mod it, sorry.

Download a copy of AFUWIN.exe from the net, take a bios backup with it and upload here, we will see then.

Execute it and use it to take a bios backup of your PC. Then upload here your bios backup.

Google for Universal bios backup creator download it, use it to take a bios backup and upload it here.

I think is not so difficult.

Here it is my friend: I made two backups of my laptop bios, one with afuwin an the other with Bios Backup Toolkit just in case, and yes it's not that difficult, silly me, hehe

You haven't flashed F16 before taking the backup, it's F15. Anyway, i removed whitelist checks in your backup, so flash back with afuwin and let's see if 104 is gone

I included afuwin, just run the file, let it unpack the content and go to C:\HPBIOS\NOWHITELIST\afuwin then choose 32 or 64 bit and run the correct afuwin version for your OS, choose the NLW.rom file and enjoy!

And yes i posted the f16 version and my laptop is running the f.15... but it doesn't matter hehe.

if both the WiFi & WWAN whitelists can be removed, it would be quite helpful to all of us mini 1000 users.

I have been modding in my hs2300 into the 1B module for my WWAN on every BIOS update, but haven't had a chance to perform it to this BIOS update.

Please Advise.
