Thank you good sir. I flashed the BIOS image and the whitelist is now gone. Don't have my 6235 card yet but I tested with a 6230 I do have. With stock BIOS I got the boot halt error. Now the machine booted with that card so the mod was successful. Check your PayPal. I donated some €. Will come back in the future if and when I have more BIOS whitelists to be removed.

Instructions were easy to follow, and the BIOS update works great.  I can now use a dual band, Intel WiFi NIC on my Lenovo E545.  Thank you for your help.  A donation is on its way.

I found a way to run "RWEverything" and save a ACPI Report. Can you use this with the original BIOS to remove the Whitelist?
