Set bios defaults to Add logo to old Award Bios on EVGA Classified
#11
Its not bricked at all. Just couldnt get my mod to work. Was trying to get an Nvme drive booting but couldnt get the Plop bootloader to see it. I'll still fire her up on occasion but only for benchmarking. Next to my old Abit board which Ill never sell I have fond memories overclocking this beast of an old board. It went from 2.66 ghz all way up to 4ghz! What a board!

oh ahahahah i totally misunderstood you sorry man and id try using grub in that case plop always has given me issues i have been having my issues with raid myself but im devising work arounds for some servers im starting up with older boards lol trying to make something of them and oh yeah ahhah some of the greatest times are had running things past their operating limit hahaah i am running a phenom ii x3 in current system overclocked to a few ghz more and its already on hypertransport half the speed lol i get you when you say never sell them lol..im somewhat of a collector myself lol
oh yeah and to get the logo to reset after reboot you just open the bios in modbin and then set to fail safe default to enabled logo i learned that not too long ago forgot to come back tot his post though.... also use the award tool to verify the checksum sometimes things can go wrong you dont notice like i was trying to boot this one rom for the longest time then i realized i was writing it to rom chip as a 512kb chip not a 1mb and i was only able to see the bios start up not actually enter or boot the pc so it mimicked a brick so to speak lol but yeah hahah happy bios modding nice to meet you !
