Some HorseRider's senseless requests

Quad cores aren't supported.

But quad cores are supported. i7 840m is quad core! Someone with my same laptop has the i7 840m in his and it works, therefore supported.

On Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/EliteBook-8540w-Q...B004O5AF84

That is 8540w, system board is identical to 8540p.

Okay, then I'll buy one lol, still cheaper than a new CPU

I know you and I argue about CPU support a lot, but I have a strange request.

I am doing some experimenting.

Can you add the Xeon X3450, i3 540, Pentium G6950, and Pentium G3220 to the AsRock Z370 Pro4 microcodes?

Please don't ask why or say it's pointless. It's a simple request, and I am doing some necessary research.

I will report back with the results once it's done.

I want to try older CPUs in the Z370 platform. Intel says it won't work and so on and so forth, but nobody's ever actually tried to completely verify.

Can you please add the microcodes for those CPUs to the AsRock Z370 Pro4? What if it does work?

Here's a photo of the different socket types.

Probably another dumb question, but my HP EliteBook 8540p has an OEM HP UEFI BIOS. Are there any methods to add things like BCLK overclocking?
