I found the PLL that this laptop uses. Apparently, according to the schematics, Clarksfield quad core CPUs are supported

The PLL model is ICS9LPRS397. Gonna try SetFSB.

Does this PLL work also with hp elitebook 8440p? It is the same generation, just a bit smaller than this laptop, also with quad core clarksfield.

I don't know, you need to find the PLL model on the motherboard.

I have an Optiplex 3010 with an i5 3470, 16GB G.Skill Ares RAM, and a GTX 1070.

However the RAM is running at 1600Mhz 11-11-11-28-1T.

I would like to run it at 2133Mhz 1.65v, as that is the XMP profile.

I plan on adding E3 1240 v2 or i7 3770, but is it possible to add unlocked i7 3770K and overclock?

You can't do it because of H61 limits.

No they aren't. You can find it either next to the CPU or next to the RAM.

yeah that's an SLG PLL for sure, my Optiplex 3010 SFF has one. unfortunately SetFSB does not have support formost SLG PLLs.

What apps can we use for slg pll, or there are no apps for this kind of pll out.

I don't know. You can try the Cypress PLLs (CP-xxxxxxxxx in SetFSB) but I think a program called CPUCooL: https://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/cpucool.html

Here's more info on SLG PLLs: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/...ly.547341/
