Main mistake - flashing in Windows.

What to do now?
(if I shut down the laptop by hard power-down (pressing the 'off'-button 5 secs) the new BIOS probably is not complete...?)

Reboot and find a suitable hardware programmer to flash flashabl.bak

Do I now:
- change the usb DOS-stick: put the regular .3821 BIOS-file on it (replacing your modded version).
- change the runcode with the name of that file?

Then:
- hard power-down the laptop.
- Boot-up via the DOS-stick?
- Flash the BIOS?

"Reboot and find a suitable hardware programmer to flash flashabl.bak"

What does this mean please?

I'm not tutor. It isn't my mod.

- You sent me a modded BIOS with instructions: I followed these exactly and then got the error-message as on screenshot sent
- You then gave the advice to flash to regular 3821-BIOS first and when doing so (exactly like I did before), the process gets stuck.

So something has changed because of the fail-flash of the modded version.
And you did not mention I could not use Windows-flash (also it is regular option from Acer).

You offered to help me, on this BIOS-mods Forum.
You also are top contributor, so you do good work and have experience.

I do not know how to proceed now that we are in this situation.
Please help me out.

This is not acceptable my friend.

You cannot bring somebody into problems, such that he looses total use of the laptop.

Where you are offering to help, on this BIOS-mods Forum.

And then suddenly walk away, all damage done.

Surely this is not why this BIOS-mods-site is there?

Please make clear what you mean with: "Reboot and find a suitable hardware programmer to flash flashabl.bak"

I offcourse know how to reboot.
But who or what is a 'suitable hardware programmer to flash flashabl.bak"

You ran WinPhlash64 and it made backup of BIOS - the file flashabl.bak
If WinPhlash64 made this BIOS corrupt then you need to flash back flashabl.bak by a suitable (for your laptop) hardware programmer. This is a special device.
