Well, I'm going to send in the netbook for warranty service. It seems that the pcie slot is dysfunctional. I still have both test files you created and I'll give word when I get the netbook back. Though I think it could be up to 3 or so weeks.

Well I sent my netbook in for repair, but on return it was lost in shipping. Fortunately the shipper coughed off the insurance and hp will be building another netbook. So, in short, it should only be a couple more weeks till I can test out the bios mods. I still have both bios mods you created. I'll let you know what happens.
