Unknown Netbook fake Vaio N450 Jmicron Lan Slic none
#1
Huh help i ran into the strangest thing my sister bought some fake vaio netbook at the fleamarket and trying to add slic 2.1 but no slic in bios.
shows Phoenix and version.mak -r1.22
in bios shows 2.05.T.101011
no model anywhere on it but i have r/w report.

( i dunno what mobo matches for bios to try)
it shows ESP Corporation as manufacturer
model Pine Trail - NP11
Revision B
serial number 400
system slots 5 PCI
socket 437
has N450, gma 3150, jmicron JMC260 10/100 lan, RTL8191SEvA wireless, Jmicron card readers.
any idea what bios should i use ?

-Manufacturer: ESP ( Unknown?)
-Motherboard Model: Fake Vaio netbook NP11
-Bios revision: unknown 2.05.T.101011
-Bios Type: Phoenix BIOS ?
-Bios Download Link: None due to no model
-RW Everything Report Download Link: http://www.mediafire.com/?j64bz0abc6gc4rc

Thanks (i hope) Confused

Hmm , well if its a Phoenix BIOS you can try generating a backup image using the below software but no promises on whether we can flash it back again. Il do some research on this "fake" Vaio

Fujitsu 2.1 SLIC With Cert - This bios is a phoenix but wont open in Phoenix Bios Editor , only in the SLIC Tool

Id appreciate some photos of all the stickers / text / model numbers etc you can see on this laptop. If its a rebrand of another model we can try and find a matching bios that way which might give some more features. Also photos of the currently available bios options because we can now unlock hidden phoenix bios menus (Although this will have to be done using the photos , no way of telling what options you have at the moment because the bios wont open in PBE)

Try at your own risk

Definately a Phoenix (Phoenix-Award bioses are actually just Award but Phoenix later bought Award , super confusing hey?)

From the photos , thats one clever fake!

However i seem to have come up with something , the MB Model Reads NP11 C. Quick google shows some references to other netbooks includingthe Epson Endeavour Nettop PC and also a samsung. This makes me think this is a rebrand of something else!

Il look further for you , interesting stuff this! Big Grin

I appreciate your patience

Can you download and run CPU-Z and post screenshots of every tab??

Sorry for all these screenshot requests but they will help me identify the board , then we might get somewhere!
