Vaio vgn-fe31m update bios help
#1
Hi guys, a salute to all the forums. Can you explain me how to flash my bios? I have a sony vaio vgn fe31m and I downloaded the bios unlocked R0170j3 and would like to upload it to my laptop, but it's the first time I do this. Please explain to me how you can do and tools that we want? Please explain me step by step because I do not know where do you start.

Thank you very much to all the friends of the forum.

run insydeflash.exe Big Grin finish

Ok I can use it,but I have 2 or 3 different questions.
1 Where is insydeflash?
2 Is insydeflash a windows program or I have to start from dos?
3 How to use insydeflash.

Sorry guys for this stupid question but you know,is a very first time for me with bios update and I would like to learn.

Thank's in advance

if u have downloaded a winrar file extract the files inside it and what do u see a folder,an executable file, if you see folder I think you should see two folders Dos and Win folder so if u want to flash in dos open Dos folder and flash in dos and if u want to flash in windows open winows or win folder and run the executable file if you see none of these you should see a executable file after you extract the filed
