file recovery from overwriten partition, software sugestions

Well i did a bad thing, after 4 years of storing my sister old computer i did spring cleaning in my storage room. since computer was never mentioned for last 4 years i took it apart and removed partitions from the disk, made a clean installation of windows 10 and ... she remembered that her life savings of photos were on that computer.

So as things are now i have a disk that has not been wiped clean, but partition table had been overwriten with another with different partition layout, and front part of the drive is most likely unrecoverable. but we have a lot of free space that might still contain data that is unalocated.

are there any tools to scan raw disk for recoverable files ? i mean free and working, might be windows , might be linux

disk was nuked last week and wasn't been used much since, so pagefile might not destroy too much else
windows part of the drive might also not ben fragmented too much, since the drive was a clocezilla copy of another failing disk, but that also make it possible for new windows to be directly on top of old users folder .
i only need to recover common file types like jpg's and doc's. there was no special software with proprietary file types

nevermind, done
used puran recovery, with deep scan of phisical disk and most of the stuff showed up (multiple times) in various level of health
file structure was recoverable, but not files in the structure. Raw files outside of directory recovered ok-ish most of them work.
