Hello. I am Brazilian and I have a Maximus Formula x38 running Windows 11 on NVME.

It is not a simple task to support booting from an NVME drive. Typically, EFI or UEFI support is required (although not all motherboards with EFI/UEFI support may support NVME booting).
In the 775 generation, I believe only MSI released a motherboard with EFI support.
I bought an adapter to put the NVME in the second PCI-e x16 slot.
I created a small FAT32 partition on another HD.
I marked this partition as active.
I installed Clover on this partition with Grub (Grub makes Clover boot via an ISO image).
I cloned my system using Hasleo WinToHDD (MBR to GPT option).
I changed the boot to start on the Clover HD and that's it.
The system boots Windows (8.x, 10, or 11) on the NVME SSD.
I am doing the same on an i7 socket 1150 system for my brother. He has a GTX 3060Ti that he used for mining and wants to use it for gaming.
Note: Burning the Clover ISO to a DVD may be easier. However, it makes the boot slower.
The only inconvenience, in my case, is having to manually select the system on the Clover boot screen.
I hope I have helped.

I would like to share my modified BIOS with NVMe support for the Rampage Formula (DDR2, x48 chipset), Maximus Formula (DDR2, x38 chipset), and P5e Deluxe (DDR2, x38 chipset).
Based on version 1001 of the BIOS for the Rampage Formula (DDR2).
Fully tested on my Maximus Formula (x38, DDR2) using an x4 NVMe adapter in the second PCI Express x16 slot.
Not compatible with similar boards using DDR3.
