what bios do i have?

hello there,
i am new here and i must say i have learnd a thing or two
so now i am trying to unlock my hp pavillion and there is something i don't understand: everest tells me the bios type is award but the manufacturer is phoenix. It also says that the award bios type is: phoenix -awardbios v6.00PG

so wich is it????

Its award. Phoenix is the company who make award bioses. Phoenix bioses are also made by Phoenix but are different. Its very Confusing!

seems this is a common bios version, yet it differs by manufacturer. I had an e-machine with the same bios, and as well, a compaq/hp, yet they were totall different bios in appearance, and function...
