Thanks much for the help!

I looked at a thread here on this model and BD master gave links for tools to upload bios but they were corrupt? Anyway, got error 7-zip unsupported when attempting to launch the exe. He gave a link for a rom file too. Not sure if it was right.

Do you have a suggestion?

The Bios Backup Tool 12 can be extracted using WinRar 5.20 or above and executed manually !

For anyone reading, this was really a breeze for this z50-70 not sure it matters the configuration but just downloaded the bin file and opened the command prompt put the machine to sleep woke it and entered the command and worked perfect....unlocked advanced bios menu + whitelist removed.

Thanks to bd master and Oleh bios guru...
