Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

Hi, I have a Lenovo Z40-70 laptop that came with a Qualcomm Atheros QCNFA335 WiFi card (no 5ghz :/). I'm trying to install an Intel 7260NGW.

Is it possible to remove the whitelist restriction? If you need the PCI ID of the original card, I will have to reinstall it, but I can to that.

If any other info is required, I'm happy to provide it. I tried to read up before posting, so I hope I'm not missing something.

Thanks for your reply. When I run flash.bat, I get "Error 28: Protected Range Registers are currently set by BIOS, preventing flash access."

I tried running prr2.exe, but it says "Flash protection could not be removed."

Is there anything else to try?

only an HW SPI Programmer can rewrite Bios Mod into your Eeprom Chip !
