in WInPE would work?
should work. Smile In what operating system you did "REBOOT command"?
But more important to get results of two previous experiments.
REBOOT in operating system or just ctrl+alt+del. I provide those experiments in old version of bios - no result.
"No result"? Please tell all exactly. I need results with mod2.
Ok, i will try soon

no effect, no boot after reset
Did you try "Load defaults and exit" in BIOS?
When "no boot" please check diagnostic LEDs status.
Quote:Diagnostic LEDs for the OptiPlex series (2009 to 2012)
With this series, the diagnostic LEDs changed to include a combination of the Power button LED state and the diagnostic LED indicators. The Diagnostic LEDs remain 1, 2, 3, 4, and placed on the front of the unit. You could identify these system by their flat black and grey front face.
And download RWEverything (not last version!) and post value of MSR with addresses 0x198 and 0x1A1.
What kind of "incompatible" CPUs you have? Only Pentium D 820 (SL8CP)?
Did you try "Load defaults and exit" in BIOS?
Yes many times in all versions of BIOS

I have Pentium D 820 830 840 915 925 945
What's about diagnostic LEDs status when system halt on reboot? And I still need value of MSRs.
Please post S-spec of "incompatible" CPUs you have.
