Bios Mods -The Best BIOS Update and Modification Source

HI admin,
I need your help, would you help to add microcode support for Pentium D 820 to DELL GX520 bios ?

CPU info: Pentium D 820 2.8GHz (SL8CP), CPUID (0F47)

My computer is DELL GX520 , MB is made by DELL, I only konw the chipset is intel 945.
GX520 BIOS: http://ftp.us.dell.com/bios/A11GX620.exe

I upgraded my CPU from Cerelon D to PentiumD 820 and now all I get is "Alert!Incompatible processor detected" during POST, I press F1 to continue, everything is OK, OS can identify PentiumD 820 CPU.

Error Message:"Alert! incompatible processor detected
Strike the F1 to continue,F2 to run the setup utility "

The problem here is this is Dells special bios format

Il look at this one in the morning (well , later on , its 1am now!!!)

This should be doable, any mobo BIOS you recommend taking the support from that supports the Pentium D?

Im still struggling with finding where the microcode is in this bios!!

Did you try using the Phoenix Tool to decompress and then read the UPDATE0.ROM

Thanks for your patience. Tthe Image you posted for your BIOS is for a GX620? Can you please clarify which version you want modded.

I am in the same shoe as 9QK, currently have a GX520, upgrade Pentium D 3.2GHz. need to modify the bios inorder to get rid of the alert message.

GX520 use the same Bios as GX620 from the dell website.

Also, can you mod it to work in slic 2.1 as well, thanks
