I will tell tomorrow. About LEDs, unsure its was all OFF
Please tell me exactly: did you computer reboot normally or halt when you "Load defaults and exit" in BIOS?
What kind of keyboard you have: USB or PS\2?
Halt.
USB keyboard
Please make new experiment:
1. Unplug all(!) usb cables from your computer except keyboard & mouse.
2. Power on your computer.
3. Boot Windows.
4. Open command line and type:
shutdown -r -t 120
5. Unplug keyboard & mouse.
6. Wait till your computer reboot.
Does it boot normally? Or halt?
Please check diagnostic LEDs status.
I didm't find that adress, attach all MSR.
When halt all LEDs off, POST card show last code until reset, reset signal on pci normal state, no reaction on power button.

I find processor wich work normal - Pentium D 915 SL9DA costa rica. All P D8xx malay series doesn't work after reset. Tomorrow I will try new experiment and try anouther P D9xx.
Press CPU MSR registers button, press User list button or F5, type a=0x198, press Add, type b=0x1A1, press Add, press Done.
Post values of MSR with addresses 0x198 and 0x1A1.
Please post S-spec of CPUs that "doesn't work after reset" too.
D945 SL9QQ work
D930 SL94R work
D830 SL88S not work - no windows boot - reset and halting
D820 SL88T not work after reset
D820 SL8CP not work after reset

MSR on 820:
a 0x198 00000E2B00000E2B 00000E2B00000E2B
b 0x1A1 0000000000000000 0000000000000000

I try command "wpeutil shutdown -r -t 120", unplug all USB - PC just OFF, no reboot.
OK. Try "wpeutil reboot" and very quickly unplug keyboard & mouse.
Does it boot normally in that case? Or halt?
i don't know quickly on not, but it halt
"very quickly" is "before windows shutdown".
Do D915, D930 and D945 work with native BIOS, my first mod or mod2?
When system halted with D820 (not D830) after reboot - any messages on the screen?
