[REQUEST] ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro BIOS Unlock
#1
Heya.

We are currently trying to get Linux running on the ONEXPLAYER 2 Pro and having an Open BIOS would really help us figure out the Reason why certain stuff refueses to run.

Currently we only have Access to UMA Size and Memory Speed.

Can someone help out?

Original Bios File:

Thanks!

Good Morning,

You can flash this bios in dos mode, i put it in the onexplayer 2 bios update folder, it is the bios for the gpd win max 2 2023 version, i renamed it to the bios file verision  1.0.6.

You have to put the all files in a root folder of an USB Stick that is formated to fat32.
The stick has to have the name WINPE. All letters have to be big.

After You did flash it You have to reinstall the Realtek Audio driver. It is strange, but it works, maybe because it is also a handheld bios.

It enables You on Windows the 16 GB VRAM that You need for games, because while setting it up in the Bios, Amd still shows 6 GB of VRAM, this was very anoying. With this rom file, the 16 GB  seems to be also available on Windows. That´s all for now, but an unlocked BIOS, is still not really out yet. I did this on my Onexplayer 2 Pro and it works. If the start up says something goes wrong, just choose the Onexplayer Windows Boot Option again in the BIOS. So this is pretty cool to have the 16 GB VRAM finally unlocked.
I hope You like it.
