Mine was showing F.44 with the first version already, in the latest BIOS you made (before making the cosmetic change), and the VBIOS is the latest one. Oh well.

But the expresscard slot on these machines (at least on the dv6-1100) is essentially a USB port, so can't you just boot from the expresscard slot by choosing to boot from USB? Have you tried it?

Yes i have tried to boot but it's not working.
I use the patriot expresscard with usb 3.0 : http://www.patriotmemory.com/products/de...43&type=23
When the bios boot, I heard the hdd is working but no boot possible

Ok it's possible to activate/desactivate the SATA controller but when I pressed the F9 key for selecting the boot device, I saw CD/drive ans Internal HDD but not external USB 3 HDD by using expresscard Patriot....
