Copy cmos data phoenix bios
#1
Hi!

I got over 30 Toshiba NB200 and I want to config one with all the bios parameters: supervisor password, boot order, etc. and copy all the parameters to the others and avoid do this manually on each of them.

The bios of the computer is a Phoenix TrustedCore ver. 1.70

I talked with technical support at Toshiba and they don't have any tool to do this job and I am not intended to do any bios upgrade, only backup and restore procedure of the values!

On Dell laptops they got a very handy good tool called DCCU that I used the last year to do this over 2000 Dell laptops! so when it boot Windows I put the executable in the registry so all the changes are instantly copied to the bios.

Anyone have done this before with Phoenix Bios? any tool to do this Linux or Windows if exists?

Best regards!

Frank

You could send us the bios you want modding , and we can change the setup defaults for you. You could then manually flash this bios to all of your machines and they would all have the changes you specified by default

So post a link to the bios download , and a list of what defaults you want changing and il see what i can do for you!

Doc!

The Bios mod:

1. Advanced:
-Wake on Keyboard: Enabled
-Wake up LAN: Disabled

2. Security:
Set Supervisor Password: Smart

3. Boot:
Only from HDD, else must be disabled

I tried to attach you the bios file downloaded from Toshiba, but I can't!.

Thanks again!

Ive tried looking for toshiba bios v1.70 on their support site but i can only find 1.20 , 1.50 and 1.60

Can you give me the site where you found v1.70? Im trying http://csd.toshiba.com

Thanks

Found v1.70 on europe download site.

Some bad news however.

Firstly , the only option i can set is Wake on Keyboard. Wake Up LAN is already disabled by default and im unable to set a supervisor password or change the boot order using my tools , - I think you will have to do this manually!

Sorry for the inconvenience

This is a really bad news!

You don't know any tool that work with Phoenix TrustedCore to change that? do this manually is a big waste of time!

Best regards and thank you for all your help!
