Hi, Masters of the Bios,
I have one of those annoying WiFi-locked bioses on my Lenovo Z510, Bios 8DCN40WW
As I have read here many have tried it before, but only succeded using a hardware programmer, so I bought one and hooked it up to the chips to read them.
There are two flash-chips on the board, a GD25Q16 and a GD25Q32. I have made a backup before using Universal Bios Backup, it seems the backup is the content of the GD25Q32 padded by 512kB. I don't know what the GD25Q16 contains.

Error 280 = Eeprom Write protected !!!
Only Sleep Bug can make It possible . . .
So put your laptop into a Sleep Mode and then Wake-Up It again then
redo the result file !
