dear admin..

this morning i plan to buy a X2 550 0922CPMW..
i found it yesterday @ Biostar distributor in Jakarta (they also sell AMD proc for bundle with Biostar mobo)..
i'm interest with TA790GX A3+ but never got good unlock review about this board..
@ XS forum, TA790GX A2+ or TA790GX 128M reported as a good mobo to unlocking the X2 550 without any problem (also OC capability)..
and they also can hit 3.8ghz (4 cores ON)..

suggest me, which one is better?
coz i dont want have any limitation if i want to OC th X2 550 with 4 cores ON..
because after i read this thread, TA790GX A3+ cannot make OC & tweak result as well as TA790GX A2+ or TA790GX 128M..

thanx, admin..

As general advice , id go with what other users have reported success on in terms of unlock capability. You are taking a risk though as even processors of the same make and model have different unlock capabilities. Some X2 550's can be unlocked , while others can't. The only way of finding out is to try!

Thats got nothing to do with the mod i dont think , maybe you need better cooling to let your chip overclock higher??

And also , the screenshot reads 3840 mhz , so why are you trying 3200 ????
