Z68A-D3-B3
#1
Hello guys!

The latest bios for my board is Version F6. But it is known to be buggy. It cuts SSD write speeds in half. Giga has been dragging their feet for a while now on the issue which sucks as alot of us OCZ SSD users need that newer Intel OROM(10.6.0.1091) contained within F6.

What I'm begging for( Heart) is to have the newer Intel OROM 10.6.0.1091 injected into the Z68A D3-B3 bios F5,which is the current bios that actually isn't buggy.I will attach the F5 bios in case this is possible, and someone has the time to do so.Thanks i appreciate it.I wasnt sure if the preferred method was just attaching the exe or just winraring the actual bios files. I chose rar as some exe's can be dangerous.

.rar   F5bios.rar (Size: 1.35 MB / Downloads: 3)

Huh... Gigabyte is still using regular Award BIOS? Anyway...

Intel Matrix RAID 10.6.0.1091
Realtek PXE 2.41

Rename file to .zip and extract. File is not really a .rom.

Attached Files
.rom   z68ad3b3-IMR10.6.0-RPXE2.41.f5.zip.rom (Size: 1.36 MB / Downloads: 5)

Feel free to use/link/host any BIOS I post, no credit necessary. However, this is at your own risk and I take no responsibility. Always keep a backup of a known-good BIOS. Don't flash a motherboard if you don't have a backup computer just in case.

Always use RAID mode. RAIDFix

Any interest in trying Intel Matrix RAID 11.0? Same deal with this, it's really .rom.zip, not .zip.rom

My board isnt wanting to see the file for some reason. I double checked it was renamed correctly after unzipping it.

Here are the results. The modified bios with Intel OROM 11 scored higher somewhat on Anvils Benchmark app.The first pic is the stock F5 bios.
